T-ball and Baseball have begun!
T-ball was great. Sage was a little worried because she had never played, but she did great and had a lot of fun....and, bonus! not everyone had mitts so some had to share, but no boys wanted to wear Sage's pink/purple mitt :).
Baseball...Nate is now the youngest on his team, and after skipping last year because more than half the games were on Sunday, was a little out of practice. His coach put him in as catcher....yikes. The pitcher was in SIXTH grade. We quickly discovered exactly how much of a difference there is between just turning 10 and almost being 13. He did a great job anyhow and came away with a bit of a bruised hand, but happily still has all of his teeth. And he was one of the only kids to actually hit the ball--the first year of kid-pitch is tough.
Looking forward to more fun Saturday ball games.

My hubby loves to watch little kids play baseball/tball/coach pitch/softball. He gets all excited when we drive past a park in the spring and see the little kids rolling around in the outfield, or playing with the dirt at third base. I hope you all have a great season!
